Toledo photos & my new s90 pics!

Last week me and my friend Matt went to Toledo and here are some photos I took.

Above is a photo of a church we found some where in Toledo and I don't even remember where but I really like it. I love photographing old churches!

This is a boat on the Maumee river!

Below is a the skyline of Toledo on the Maumee river.

I recently won a Canon s90 compact camera on a online photo competition....the s90 is pretty much a Canon g11 but crammed in a smaller body. It has a f/2 lens, shoots raw files, and has full manual settings! It's a really sweet camera and I like having it b/c I don't have to lug my 5D2 everywhere.
So here are some photos I have taken with it over the past couple days!

These photos were taken at Levis Commons in Perrysburg Ohio. Which I
want to go back to and do some portraits, it's a great location.

I really like this photo of Ed! This was taken early in the morning and the sun was rising in the background making some sweet lens flare...pretty impressed with the s90's lighting/flare control!

I love this shot of my mom, so candid and natural. That's whats nice about having a small compact camera, people don't notice it and I can pull it out of my pocket and snap a pic i want without the person knowing.

If I have one, I always like ending on a photo of me and Jamie : ) This is a pic of me and Jamie at a hotel in Detroit. me, Jamie, and my family were visiting my mom's side of the family for the weekend, was a lot of fun!

These are interior photos I took at the Victory Hotel in Bowling Green Ohio where we had my Dad's surprise birthday party! It's a really old hotel but really cool, most people don't even know about it.

I thought about doing the 365 self portrait this year but decided I don't really have the time and have more important thing to do. BUT I will be updating my blog more with photos and I might throw in a self pic every once and awhile.

I really like the pool room, it's a great background!

My dad turned 50 on Dec 30th!

But the big 50 hasn't affected my dad too much, he very rarely misses a wrestling practice(he's a wrestling coach). I hope I'm as healthy and active at 50 as my dad is!

My Mom Shelley - check out her blog!

This is my mom, Shelley. She is a great mom, she has managed to raise me and my 3 younger brothers, which isn't an easy task. It's not easy being the only female in the family....when it comes to movies me, my brothers, and dad want to watch "shoot em up" movies, she wants "chick flicks" or when she gets a new outfit or shoes and wants an opinion on how they look on her we're never much help. I think it's her great sense of humor that has kept her sane over the years. And I think it's her sense of humor that we all share and it is one of the reasons why we get along so well as a family! We enjoy watching the same TV shows, find randoms things in life to be funny....we just laugh a lot!


My mom is also a very talented writer! She has a blog that she updates weekly with funny, uplifting, and inspiring stories. I highly recommend that you check out her blog! Read! Holland Michigan photos!

Me and my family went up to Holland Michigan to visit family and it was a lot of fun!! Here are som pics from the visit which were taken with my new Canon 5D mark II !!

The Lee Famiy! - camp fire pics

It has been so great being back home in Ohio! I am living at my parents house for the 1st time in 4 years and i am having a lot of fun....free rent, free laundry, free FOOD! lol I enjoy spending time with them....we play a lot of ping pong, videos games, late night Waffle House runs, watching movies, working out, camp fires and so on! These photos were take a week ago when we made camper pies which is ground beef with a lot of veggies wrapped up in foil, then put into the fire!

Holland, MI and CPI product shoot

a couple weeks a go I went to Holland Michigan to visit family and shoot product shots for my Uncles Dave's company Creative Products International.

Here are 20 of 200 plus photos I shot for CPI. It took about 5 hrs to shoot and about 20 hrs to edit! lol I had to create a path around every image, take out the background, and save as a psd and low res jpeg. This was defiantly the most editing I have ever done for one shoot and I am glad I'm done! : )

While I was in Holland I took some photos of the family. Above is my Uncle Dave, Aunt Karmen, and cousins Ethan, Nolan, and Jackson. I really enjoyed visiting them and hanging out with my cousins!

Ethan is a little over a year old, walking all over, and is one of the happiest babies I've ever seen...he's always smiling!
