I'm a photographer but sometimes I wish I was a musician

Sometimes I really do wish I could be a musician but I have never been musically gifted. If I could learn to play any instrument it would be the piano. But any ways...

This is Zack Fletcher at a show in Toledo Ohio.

Besides Jamie, Marky is the person I photograph the most!

This is Steve Rieski, I met Steve through church and a couple weeks ago we went out and took some photos with his sweet guitar! Steve is a BGSU Cru adviser and preaches and does worships at Brookside Church.

These photos were taken by some brick road behind the BG library.

It was a really fun shoot!

Marky Dally & Luke James Clazel show photos!

This past Thursday my good friend Marky Dally and Luke James played at the Clazel in Bowling Green Ohio!

The lighting wasn't to great but I like how most of them turned out!

Marky had a soar throat/was losing his voice but still sounded great!

This is Luke James, he's originally from the Bowling Green area but now lives on NYC. I was recently on American Idol, He made it in the top 50!! but didn"t make it into the top 24.
Great job Luke!

This is my friend Marky, he is a musician, I'm a photographer....so when we hang out he plays his music and I take photographs. It's a good combo.

In these photos he is recording guitar, drums, singing, and I think base, then running it through a loop. He's a one man band! ...I hope I said that right??

Coloring at Grounds for Thought...a coffee shop/bookstore in BG.

Jamie and I bought a coloring book, some crayons, went to Grounds for Thought and tried to stay in the lines!

It was Jamie's idea and we had a lot of fun!

When it comes to coloring/drawing I am a perfectionist, I took forever the finish one page. Jamie got 2 done!

Look at that sweet orange Dinosaur....reminds me of when I was a kid and I loved to watch Land Before Time!


The past month I have been taking photos for a personal project...here are a couple screenshots of me editing them. The project should be done within 2-3 weeks!

Band photography!

Friday night went with my parents to watch our friend Tony's band play....they're call Myndcrym. They're a hard metal band. I went to high school with Tony, we wrestling and ran cross country together and now he is my mom's personal trainer!

These photo were taken at the Omni in Toledo Ohio, the lighting was pretty sweet and I really like how the photos turned out!!

It was a lot of fun taking these photos, it's been awhile since I've taken live show photos! I really like and want to shoot some more!!

Balloons and random pics

I took these photos of Marky a couple days ago! It was a lot of fun and I'd like to re-shoot/do some more with this idea!

This photo was taken in the small town of Cygnet, Ohio...where I lived for 5 years when I was young! And a random fact you may not know is.... a "cygnet" is a baby swan : )

these two photos were taken outside of Cygnet...someone crashed into this telephone poll, I hope they're okay. But anyways I thought it was a really cool photo, the sky was beautiful and I love the leading lines the power lines create.
