Conceptual Still Life

I was having a really hard time thinking of a conceptual still life for my phase 4 final. I thought of this yesterday when I saw the scrabble game Jamie got me for my birthday awhile back(scrabble is my favorite board game)...and I love Jamie, so I put the 2 together!
I really like how it turned out and I want take some more photos like this : )

Massachusetts is Beautiful!

I got a Canon 5D a couple days ago...it was a tough decision between Canon and Nikon but I choose canon! I am happy to finally have my own camera but now I need to buy one more lens, some canon speedlites, and a tripod...which wont be cheap : /

The 3 landscape images below are of the Connecticut River. I was shooting from the French King Bridge right outside of Miller Falls Ma, where I live. Today was a beautiful day and I really enjoyed being outside, I really like these photos. let me know what you think?
Thanks for viewing : )

These are some flowers outside of my house in in Millers. I took this with a my 5D and the school's Canon 85mm f/1.2, which is a really sweet lens! The two lenses I bought are...canon 50mm f/1.4 and the Canon 85mm f/1.8. Both are really sharp and fast and I really shooting with prime lenses. All I need now is a wide lens and a macro lens.

Jake

This is a Jake, a friend from Hallmark. I took this photo from my car while my friend Jen drove. I really miss having a motorcycle, i wish I could get another one but that probably wont happen.

PR/alternative shot

This is Tiffany and I shot her for my PR/alternative shot, she was a lot of fun to work with. I am not a big fan of doing PR shots, I think they're very boring but I think the shot turned out pretty good/
